Dr. Liu Zhiling, with just more than a month of acupuncture and treatment by you, my external hemorrhoids is no longer inflamed and secretion has vastly decreased. Initially, I was nervous when I went to seek treatment because at my age, it was the first time I had stepped into a TCM clinic. Mr Habais: I have a long history with keloid scars, which was resisting for years. I have tried several types of cream, several types of injection and even 2 surgeries. Unfortunately I still have itching and pain. I finally visited Dr Liu Zhiling at HTCM and after a few sessions, my keloid is not itching anymore. I have long heard of Dr. Liu's miraculous acupuncture technique and travelled across the Pacific Ocean for treatment. I have been paralyzed in my hands for 8 years, and it has worsened in the past 6 years. Especially when sleeping at night, the hand numbness was obvious and when it was serious, the hand numbness woke me up, and my hand looked swollen like a sausage, as if bitten by thousands of ants... I have seen Western medicine doctors who told me that surgery is required to completely solve the problem. 爸爸突然的腿痛脚麻，头麻加听力下降让我非常的担心。经过朋友介绍，立刻来找刘医师。诊断时刘医师非常耐心，友善。把脉问诊后，刘医师说出的病因和推断出我爸的生活状态都准得让我惊讶。针灸第一次后头麻的现象就好多了, 耳朵的听力也稍有好转。
由于爸爸的问题比较严重，我们连续治疗了5次，每星期两次针灸配合服中药粉调理体质。现头脚麻木的感觉基本上没有了。腿痛也大大缓解。听力也有所提高。人的感觉清爽了不少。
逐渐改为一星期一次的治疗。经过6次治疗后，我爸爸恢复得很好。非常感谢刘医师!
Dad's sudden leg pain, feet and head numbness, coupled with hearing loss, made me very worried. After being introduced by a friend, he immediately went to Dr Liu. Dr Liu was very patient and friendly during the diagnosis. After taking my father’s pulse, Dr Liu's description of the cause and inference of my father's life situation surprised me. After the first acupuncture session, the numbness in the head is much reduced, and the hearing of the ear is slightly improved. Due to my father's serious problem, we seek treatment 5 times in a row, twice a week acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine to regulate physical fitness. The feeling of numbness in the head and feet was basically gone. The leg pain was greatly relieved and hearing much improved. Dad felt joyful.

2022 年 12 月，我因非常严重的眩晕入院，并呕吐不停。西医诊断为内耳感染，影响了我的视力和平衡。出院后，我突然右耳失聪，听力检查仅剩下35%的听力，伴右耳鸣，耳内不断的高音频作响。这严重影响了我的生活和工作。看诊耳鼻喉科医生，他开了类固醇作为治疗方法. 我被告之，完全恢复的几率只有30%，部分恢复的几率为30%，其余的可能没有任何改善。我才三十多岁，这无疑对我来说是一个毁灭性的消息。
我丈夫偶然机遇下发现了欣中医的网站，我们决定尝试中医针灸治疗。刘医生知识渊博，非常有把握。她并没有反对耳鼻喉科医生的建议，她很开通的配合耳鼻喉科医生的处理方式 ，并提醒我们不可以随意停服类固醇药物，同时她调整了中药以配合西医治疗。我很感激地说，在她的护理和药物下，我没有遭受类固醇治疗的副作用。一月份，我的听力提高到65%左右。耳鼻喉科医生建议直接在我的耳膜上注射类固醇。在考虑了风险和刘医生给我的信心后，我决定不走这条路，专注于中医治疗。我很高兴地说，我的听力仍在改善，耳鸣现在对我的生活方式没有太大影响。谢谢刘医生。
In December 2022, I was admitted to the hospital for very bad vertigo which I could not stop vomitting. It was diagnosed as inner ear infection which affected my vision and balancing. After discharging from the hospital, I suffered from a sudden loss of hearing, only left with 35% of my hearing ability, and tinnitus, constant high pitch ringing sound in my right ear. Visited an ENT doctor who prescribed steroids as the treatment and I was told that the full recovery chance is only 30%, partial recovery chance is 30% and the rest may not show any improvement. Being in my mid thirties, this is devastating news.
My husband chanced upon the website of Dr Liu, and we decided to give acupuncture a try for my condition. Dr Liu is very knowledgeable and very assuring. she didn't reject the treatment as advised by the ENT doctor, while she adjusted her medication to complement that. I am grateful to say that with her care and medicines, I did not suffer from the side effects of the steroid treatment. In Jan, my hearing was improved to about 65%. The ENT doctor suggested to go for a steroid injection directly to my ear drum. After considering the risks and the confidence that Dr Liu has given me, I decided not to take that route and focus on TCM treatment. I am happy to say that my hearing is still improving and the tinnitus is not affecting my lifestyle that much now. Thank you Dr Liu.

这一次我确信找对地方了。 刘医生非常专业，体诊十分认真仔细。看中西医生一年多，每个医生都没发现我有问题的脚温度比较高，但是刘医生第一次体查就发现问题。 刘医生针灸技术非常棒，每次针灸完我感觉足踝都很轻松 ，能正常行走。她也在精神上鼓励我，建议我多走路锻炼 ，不要灰心，让我重燃了信心。在美国一年多的治疗都没有在欣中医一个月的治疗效果好。我打心里感激刘医生，她是真的从心里关心病人，对病人的治疗非常用心，耐心又细心。让我在欣中医的治疗期间感觉非常安心与踏实。

I flew from New York to visit my daughter, who works in Singapore. Due to my medical condition (ie. foot drop), I had been seeing a TCM physician in New York for acupuncture treatment for more than a year. There has not been much progress, and I became pessimistic and fearful that I will not be able to walk again. When I came to Singapore, I started looking for TCM clinics in Singapore online. HTCM clinic façade and doctor profile shown on their website attracted me and I decided to give it a try.
This time I am sure I am at the right place. Dr Liu is very professional and detailed in her examination and diagnosis. After seeing several Chinese and Western doctors for more than a year, I have never been told that my foot temperature is relatively high, which was what Dr Liu advised me. Dr Liu's acupuncture technique is very good ...every time after her acupuncture session, I feel that my ankle is very relaxed and I can walk normally. She often encourages me to walk more and exercise regularly, telling me not to be discouraged, which helps me build my confidence. My treatment in the United States for more than a year has not been as good as a month’s treatment at HTCM. I am very grateful to Dr Liu, as she really cares about her patients, and is very patient and attentive in her treatment. I feel at ease and secure whenever I have my treatment at HTCM.
A good doctor must first have medical ethics, followed by skill. My friends are envious of me that I can meet a good doctor with medical ethics and skill at HTCM.

我股骨颈骨折（femur neck fracture）手术后二十多月，经过几次的物理治疗和别处中药针灸治疗后髋关节附近的筋肉还会比较紧绷。在网上看到欣中医，读到刘医师的风筝针灸，就来看诊。刘医师详细了解了我的状况，耐心解释我现在的病因和她的治疗方案。一到两次针灸中药治疗后，可以感觉到自己不用做太多的物理拉伸来维持肌肉舒展放松的状态。值得一提的是配合刘医师的针灸解疤治疗，四次针灸后，明显感觉到手术刀口附近萎缩的肌肉在恢复，走路更有力气，在调节我筋骨的同时，刘医师也帮我调节脏腑和阴阳的问题以达到整体的恢复。
More than 20 months after my femur neck fracture operation, the muscles near the hip joint are still tight after several physio-therapy and Chinese herbal acupuncture treatments elsewhere. I saw HTCM on the internet and read about Dr Liu's kite acupuncture and decided to see her.
Dr Liu listened to my condition in detail and patiently explained my current cause and her treatment plan. After two acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatments, my muscle was much more relaxed without having to do excessive physical stretching like I used to do. Now, after 4 treatment sessions with Dr Liu, it is worth mentioning that I can clearly feel the atrophied muscles near the surgical incision are recovering, and I can walk more vigorously. While regulating my muscles and bones, Dr Liu also helped me regulate my viscera and yin/yang issues to achieve a holistic recovery.

今年8月30号我的左手腕下方接受了一个神经节囊肿手术后留下了一道疤痕。 当疤痕组织在我的手腕上变得非常明显的隆起时，我去找刘医生进行针灸治疗。在针灸治疗过程中，她还发现并医治了我的鼻窦炎（鼻窦炎导致我一侧下眼睑肿胀和黑眼圈）。
刘医生是一位非常专业和善良的医生。因为这是我第一次做针灸，她确保我整个治疗过程都感觉舒适。 尽管有些地方很痛，但在她的安慰和鼓励下，我都坚持了下来，情况也越来越好。 目前经过 5 次疗程后，我对结果感到满意，我的疤痕明显消退，我的鼻窦问题也有所好转。
I had a scar after undergoing a surgery (on 30th Aug) for a ganglion cyst in the underside of my left wrist. When the scar tissue was growing to become quite a visible bulge on my wrist I went to Dr Liu for acupuncture, and through that treatment she also tackled my sinus issue which was causing 1 side of my undereye to be swollen.
Dr. Liu is a very professional and kind doctor, she made sure I felt comfortable as it was my first time doing acupuncture. Even though it hurt at some parts, it was made better with her reassurance and encouragement. Currently after 5 sessions, I am happy with the results. My scar has gone down visibly and my sinus issue has gotten better.

Dr Liu Zhiling is a trusted TCM practitioner. I've been seeing her for several years and I'm really grateful to her. Dr Liu is very open-minded, not only is she a skillful TCM Physician, she also has knowledge of Western medicine. There was a special situation before when Dr Liu did not hesitate to recommend me to proceed with Western medicine examination and treatment, which saved my health in time. Every time I visit Dr Liu, she will explain in detail the treatment I need to have to gradually improve my health. I was afraid of acupuncture, but Dr Liu's acupuncture skills are great and most of the time I don't even feel the needles. She prescribes scientific powder. Compared with traditional herbal medicine, it avoids the trouble of boiling medicine, which is convenient for me to carry with me, and it is also very convenient to consume.

5月21号我确诊了Covid。即便ART转阴后，我依然痰特别多，总是咳个不停，每五分钟就需要吐一口痰 痰总是吐不完。这个情况持续了2个月，我很担心肺部出了问题，想要去做各式各样的检查，但因爲工作繁忙也觉得麻烦，就想到尝试了中医。 正好朋友跟我推荐了欣中医的刘医师。经过刘医师的详细检查，发现我是过敏性鼻炎的问题导致的久咳不愈。并跟我解释了成因：Covid 病毒最常见的后遗症就是激发了机体内过敏反应 。第一次看诊：刘医师做了针灸治疗并根据我的体质调配了中药并建议我用生理盐水冲洗鼻腔。我感觉好很多了，2次治疗后我的咳嗽完全痊愈了。现在在继续调理身体其他问题。

I was diagnosed with Covid on May 21st. Days later when the ART test turned negative, I still had a lot of phlegm, coughing very often and having to spit out phlegm every five minutes. This situation lasted for 2 months, so I was worried about my lungs and wanted to go for medical check-up. Due to my busy work schedule and finding it troublesome, I decided to try TCM instead. Just then, my friend recommended me to Dr Liu at HTCM. After a detailed examination, Dr Liu told me that my cough was caused by allergic rhinitis and explained that the most common sequelae of Covid is a trigger of an allergic reaction in the body.
On my first visit, Dr Liu gave me an acupuncture session and Chinese medicine. She also suggested that I rinse my nose with saline solution. I have recovered from my cough after the second session. Now I continue to visit HTCM to improve my body health.

我今年56嵗，不但有高胆固醇的问题，肩膀和后背还长期僵硬酸痛。 那日因肩背痛得忍无可忍感觉似要中风， 就决定通过网络寻找中医时而看到欣中医诊所的网页。 我看到欣中医高大上的门面后對治疗费用有所顧慮而犹豫不决，但 经我先生的再三劝説， 我决定给自己和欣中医一个机会。
來診之前我一直想拔罐和放血。見到劉醫師后，她非常詳細的检查了我的颈肩背，告诉我肩背肌肉肿胀得厉害，暂时不可拔罐，盲目拔罐反而会加重病情。她跟我提出了合適的治療方式：應該先单纯针灸治疗和吃药调理身体。得知我平常饮水很少，饮食不注意，刘医师提醒我除了接受中医针灸治疗，日常还需要饮食忌口来配合治疗。通过第一次治疗针灸和吃药，立即见到很好的效果，整个人感觉很放鬆。我知道自己找对医师。第二次刘医师在针灸治疗的基础上加走罐治疗 。以前只是尝试过拔罐（感覺拔罐很痛），第一次尝试走罐是一个很好的体验，好像按摩般非常舒服，做完以后感觉‘鬆到心裏去‘，之前那种胸口压迫的感觉都消失了。

I am 56 years old, not only do I have high cholesterol problem, I also suffer from chronic upper back and shoulder pain. I began searching online for TCM when the pain became unbearable, and I came across HTCM Clinic. Initially, I hesitated and worried about the treatment cost due to the luxurious facade of HTCM Clinic, but I decided to give it a try after repeated persuasions from my husband.
Dr. Liu Zhiling of HTCM Clinic is very patient. On my first visit, she examined my neck, shoulder and back and told me that my muscles were swollen. She treated me with acupuncture and medicine, instead of cupping or bloodletting (which I have asked for when I entered her consultation room) because these would aggravate my condition. Knowing that I usually drink very little water and do not pay attention to my diet, Dr Liu also advised me on proper healthy diet coupled with TCM acupuncture treatment. I felt immediate improvement after the first treatment, my body was relaxed, and I knew I have found the right TCM Physician. On my second visit, Dr. Liu added ‘moving cupping therapy’ on top of acupuncture treatment. I have tried cupping but not this ‘moving cupping therapy’, which is comfortable and felt like massage. My body was fully relaxed, and the chest tightness was completely gone too.
Staff of HTCM Clinic are welcoming and have friendly attitude which make me feel comfortable seeking treatment here.
Personally, I always wanted cupping and bloodletting, but Dr Liu doesn’t take patient’s request blindly. She is patient in explaining to me in detail about my condition and the suitable types of treatment required. I'm glad I found the right doctor who has good conscience. Although the treatment fee is not low, it is value for the money spent. I will continue my treatment because of the positive result I experienced.

我是一名肺痨病患。2021年8月開始出現胃酸倒流和胃灼热的问题。11月確診肺結核（TB），需長期服抗癆藥。
肠胃的问题一直持续。我每天晚上半夜都感觉到烧心，反复烧心，无法睡得安稳，非常痛苦。西医还开了止痛药给我，我吃了才能入睡，胃病期間我也接受了一些中藥調理 ，但病情仍時常反復改善不明顯。在接受西医治疗肺痨病后，我腹部振水声和胃胀烧心更加严重了，不敢也不能多饮水，胃口也差了，吃一点就饱了，体重也掉了3kg。面对这反复难愈的胃病困扰，我渐渐陷入严重的焦虑抑郁状态。就在我进入治疗肺痨病的第六个月，我读了一本名叫《远离疾病》的书，这本书里诉说的各种病人，除了接受各式各样的治疗都会配合针灸疗法。于是，我在网上寻找针灸女医师，查看到刘医师有丰富的临床经验，所以决定试一试。
2022年6月1号初次看诊，刘医师非常细心地检查我的身体，了解到我先天肠胃就很弱，单靠吃中药调理是很慢的，需要通过针灸来激活我肠胃的气机。她也检查了我所服用的西药，并告诉我用来治疗肺痨药所带来的副作用：胃胀气，胃疼，胃灼热，尿储留等等。此刻我才意识到我的胃病一直反复发生无法断根的真正原因跟西药治疗有关。刘医师在我的头上和腹部施针，留针过程中整个肚子里的气都在跑，放了一个很长的屁。针灸前，肚子膨胀的像气球，肚脐凸显出来；针灸后，我感觉轻松多了，肚子没有鼓鼓地，像了泄了气的气球。第二天当我早上起床侧面照镜子时，肚子是平的；我吃饱后，裤子再也没有再紧紧地让我觉得很辛苦。太神奇了！第一次就有这样的效果。除了针灸治疗和服用科学中药粉，刘医师还提醒我日常饮食注意事项，少吃多餐，并配合户外运动。
经过两个多月的多方面的治疗与配合，我的胃灼热感已经减少很多，除了吃肺痨西药当天会感觉胃灼热。以前，我每次跳跃运动时，都会听到自己肚子里振水声，现在我喝水十分钟后跳跃，已经没听到振水声。我每日喝白开水的量从治疗前的300ml 增加到现在900ml。我的睡眠质量比较好了，胀气少了，胃口也渐渐改善，体重也在逐渐回升，人也开朗了许多。刘医师告诉我针灸有无限的可能，只是恢复的进度因人而异，所以要有耐心。如果一个人的慢性疾病已经好几年了，不可能两三次针灸就会好的，但只要坚持规律性治疗，顽疾也可以有希望根治。

I am a tuberculosis patient. I started having acid reflux and heartburn in August 2021. I was diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB) in November 2021, which requires long-term medication.
My gastrointestinal problems continued to persist. I felt heartburn every night in the middle of the night, with repeated heartburn and was unable to sleep. The doctor prescribed painkillers for me to fall asleep, and I also took some Chinese medicine, but my condition did not improve. The TB medication worsened my gastro condition and my heartburn became more serious. My stomach was bloated all the time, so I did dare to drink too much water and my appetite was poor and I was easily full with a small meal. I lost weight … 3kg. Faced with repeated and incurable stomach problem, I gradually fell into a state of severe anxiety and depression. Just as I entered the sixth month of treatment for tuberculosis, I read a book called "Stay Away from Disease", which writes about how patients who have received various types of medical treatment, also went through acupuncture therapy. I decided to google for a female acupuncturist on the Internet, read about Dr Liu and her wealth of clinical experience, and made an appointment to see her!
On my first visit to HTCM on 1 June 2022, Dr Liu examined my body very carefully and told me that my stomach and intestines were very weak. She said that it would be very slow to rely solely on traditional Chinese medicine and it was necessary to activate the Qi in my stomach and intestines through acupuncture. I understand the side effects of the TB medication that I am taking, which includes flatulence, stomach ache, heartburn, urine retention, etc. Dr Liu applied needles on my head and abdomen, and during the acupuncture process, I could feel the Qi in my whole stomach ‘moving’ and I let go of a long fart! Before acupuncture, the stomach was swollen like a balloon, and the navel protruded. After the acupuncture, I felt much more relaxed, and my stomach did not bulge, just like a deflated balloon. The next morning when I got up and looked into the mirror, my stomach was flat. After my breakfast, I did not feel tightness when I changed into my pants. It's amazing to have such an effect after one acupuncture session! In addition to acupuncture treatment and taking Chinese medicine powder, Dr Liu also reminded me of the daily dietary precautions, including taking frequent small meals instead of a large meal, as well as having regular exercise.
After 2 months of treatment with Dr Liu, my heartburn sensation has reduced drastically, although I still feel heartburn on days of my TB medication. In the past, whenever I jumped, I would hear the sound of water in my stomach. Now, after drinking water for ten minutes, I do not hear the sound of water when I jump. The amount of boiled water I drink every day has increased from 300ml before Dr Liu’s treatment to 900ml now. My sleep quality is better, I have less flatulence, my appetite has gradually improved, my weight is gradually rising, and I am also much more cheerful. Dr Liu told me that acupuncture has unlimited possibilities, but the progress of recovery varies from person to person, so be patient. If a person's chronic disease has been for several years, it is impossible to do two or three acupuncture sessions to be good, but as long as you adhere to regular treatment, the stubborn disease can also be cured.

在此先谢谢刘医师和柜台接洽助理。我是一个不轻易看中西医的人。每次患病都是用時间自愈。由于长期的疲劳和各方面压力，少眠，免疫力低下导致中老年的我(58岁)容易被病毒侵入。大概7月11号开始突然左腰疼痛到无法入眠。隔一天延续到左腿，第3天左侧身体似乎半麻痹。我贴膏药布、搽舒筋膏都无效。第4天左后腰出现一片红肿水泡，左大腿內側，左下腹跟着一大片、一大片的水泡粒，又痒又痛。我还是忍着，自搽痱子粉蛇粉止痒完全无效。当时正当猴痘疫情开始出现，我很担忧而又不敢看医生，最后自己上网搜索各方面的皮肤病症状研究，自觉大概是患蛇串疮（俗称"生蛇"），又不停上网搜索西医与中医的治疗方式。这期间皮肤的疼痛和燒痒沒有停止过，而且愈发严重了。水泡不但没有减少，而且在脸上.头顶也出现， 原来的水泡处非常红肿热痛。失眠整整一星期，我来来回回在网上寻找女中医。欣中医的网页在我的搜寻版中看好多遍，终于在20号早上决定拨电预约看诊時间。到欣中医就诊时已是皮肤出现红疹水泡的第5天了。
刘医师一看到我的水泡样皮疹，就很明确的告诉我这是患上了蛇串疮，她非常溫柔细心的检查了我的患部 ，并详细跟我解说患病成因和我之后要需要做的治疗。我的心中已经告诉我自己：沒错！这回找对医生了。刘医生开始帮我针灸。从头、腰、大腿內侧及下体下了大约二、三十支针，又帮我在疼痛处放血。整个冶疗过程大约45分钟。很神奇，走出治疗室的那刻，疼痛已经减轻了60-70%。随后刘医师还配了3天中药。3天后复诊，水泡红肿已经明显消退 ，结痂。同样再针灸和放血治疗，又服5天药，可说水泡完全平去，也不痛了，左边下半身麻痹也完全消失。短短10天从看诊医冶到现在基本95%痊愈，纯中医治疗完全不需服用任何西药止痛，仅仅看诊了3次！

First, I would like to express my gratitude to Dr Liu Zhiling and her front desk assistants.
I don’t normally see doctor, be it Western doctors or TCM physicians as I prefer self-healing in time. However, at the age of 58 my immunity begins going downhill due to stress from all aspects of life and lack of rest.
On 11th July, I had a sudden pain on the left side of my back, it was so bad that I couldn’t sleep. The pain spread to my left leg and on day 3, I felt as if I was paralyzed on the left side of my body. Besides medicated plaster, I applied muscle relaxant cream, but it was useless. On day 4, huge patches of red and swollen fluid-filled blisters erupted on my left lower back, left inner thigh, as well as on the left side of my lower abdomen. Enduring the itch and burning pain, I applied prickly heat powder but to no avail. Although I was worried, I dare not seek medical help because coincidentally it was when Monkeypox cases began to emerge. After researching online on symptoms of various skin diseases, I suspected myself suffering from shingles, thereupon I searched online for Western and TCM home remedies. Meantime the pain and itch became worse, with blisters appearing on my face and scalp. After many sleepless nights, I began looking for female TCM physicians on the internet and HTCM website caught my attention. Finally, I made an appointment with Dr Liu Zhiling on 20th July, which was day 5 since blisters erupted.
Dr Liu confirmed it was shingles as soon as she saw my blister rash. She examined the affected area carefully and gently, explained to me in detail the causes and treatment required. At this moment, I knew from the bottom of my heart that I have found the right doctor. We began acupuncture treatment, approximately 30 needles in total were inserted in all affected area, i.e., head, waist, inner thigh, and groin. Followed by bloodletting therapy. The whole process took 45 minutes. Amazingly, the pain was greatly reduced by 60-70% when I stepped out of the treatment room. I was also given 3 days of medication. I went back for follow-up appointment after 3 days, redness and swelling have clearly subsided, and scabs were formed. We repeated acupuncture and bloodletting therapy process, and this time I was given 5 days of medicine. By then there was no pain, and the blisters were completely healed up, and the numbness on the left lower body was completely gone. In just 10 days and after only 3 treatments, I am basically 95% recovered, relied purely on TCM treatment without any western painkiller.

自2018年以来，我一直有著非常严重的眩晕问题。我看过很多医生和耳鼻喉科专科，也做了各种各样的检验，仅仅被告知这是因为内耳失衡，却没有找到致病原因和解决方案。每次我眩晕发作时，整个世界都在旋转而我却无能为力，这种感觉是非常可怕和糟糕的。在发病的那几天或一个星期里，我几乎卧床不起并一直呕吐。我尝试了耳石复位手法（BPPV Epley），也服用了不同类型的药物，但眩晕不会消失，就像晕船一样，感觉船不停止的摇晃。时间久了，眩晕的发作也变得更加频繁，甚至每月发作一次。这让我精神紧张，害怕躺下也害怕转头太快，因为这些简单的动作都有可能导致眩晕发作，我的血压也随之变得非常高。
眩晕发作渐渐影响了我生活，甚至影响了我的工作。在2019年，通过同事的介绍我认识了刘医师。 同事曾接受过刘医师的针灸治疗并称赞刘医师医术高明，所以我决定试一试。在第一次针灸治疗后，我整个头部变得非常清晰并感觉良好，甚至于我的视力更清晰。从那以后我一直很规律的复诊治疗。与之前相比，我现在的病情好多了。虽然现在我仍不时有眩晕发作，但发作频率已经减少到每年一次左右（这通常是我工作压力较大的时候，又或者由于我晚睡的不良生活方式诱发的），眩晕发作的程度也较前轻微得多。我可以到处走动，可以正常饮食；我也不再有呕吐的现象，谢天谢地。

I have been having very severe attacks of vertigo since 2018. I had seen a few doctors and ENTs. I did all sorts of testing, but no solution or conclusion was found. Most of the time, I was told that it is because of the inner ear imbalance. Every time I have a vertigo attack, the feeling is really so awful and bad because your whole world is spinning and there is nothing you can do. I will be totally wasted for a few days or up to a week. I will be almost bedridden or vomiting all the time. I tried the BPPV Epley manoeuvre, taken different types of medication but the spinning just won't go away. It's like I am seasick on a boat and the boat just won't stop swaying and spinning. As time goes by, these severe attacks became more frequent. They can be as frequent as once a month. I reached a point that I was so stressed up and so scared of lying down or turning my head too fast for fear that the vertigo might strike again anytime. My blood pressure was very high because I was also very stressed up as these vertigo attacks were also affecting my work.
My colleague then introduced me to Dr Liu in 2019. She did her acupuncture with her and she told me that she was good so I decided to give it a try. The first time I tried her acupuncture treatment, my whole head felt so cleared and good. Even my eyesight seems to be better and clearer. I have been seeing her faithfully and my condition is a lot better now compared to last time. I still do get vertigo attacks now and then but now the frequency has reduced to about once a year (usually it strikes when I get very stressed up over work and also because of my bad lifestyle of sleeping late and very little). And when the vertigo strikes, the severity is a lot milder and I can still be walking around and eating my meals. I don't vomit anymore, thank goodness.
I am so grateful to Dr Liu that now I can lead a normal life instead of being fearful all the time. For those who are afraid of needles, don't worry as she is very gentle. I had other bad experiences with other Chinese physicians who gave me scary experiences but not Dr Liu. She is very skilful and she knows what is the best treatment for you at any one time. I am a very problematic patient because I lead a really unhealthy lifestyle. I was in a really bad shape before I met Dr Liu but now, I am really so much better and I am very thankful. My husband saw my improvement and decided to try acupuncture by Dr Liu as he has very bad IBS problem. He is a lot better now and we are very appreciative of all the help we got from Dr Liu.
For anyone who has been seeing western doctors for years and is still not getting better, I will strongly recommend to you to try acupuncture with Dr Liu. It really works and you will be amazed with the results.

2022年2月，当我被告知右眼视网膜出现第三次裂痕时，我变得不敢随意做低头的动作而导致我的肩颈僵硬，也因爲担心眼睛状况而开始失眠，并在最近期间失眠状况加重, 需服用安眠药入眠。而这之前曾打过了2次止血针，近两个月来视网膜裂痕一直缓慢愈合维持在70%。直到今年5月5号通过中医师朋友介绍来欣中医求诊。
第一次针灸后 感觉放松很多 眼球酸痛紧绶感大爲改善，肩颈也没有了紧绷的感觉。当天晚上一觉到天亮，无需安眠药助眠。我眼球视网膜在经过5次的针灸，再给眼科医生检查，医生也很惊讶，从5月5号到5月17号短短的12天里视网膜修复从之前的70%恢复到95%，医生告诉我眼球出血概率已经非常低了。6月3号眼科专科检查被告知：右眼视网膜已经100%愈合康复。

In February 2022, I was told by my ophthalmologist that I had retina tear in my right eye. This was the third time I experienced retina tear and I became afraid to look up or down and eventually lead to stiff neck. I also started to have insomnia and rely on sleeping pills due to worries on my eye condition. I had two haemostatic injections and healing on retina tear was slow and remained at 70% for nearly two months.
On 5th May I came to see Dr Liu at HTCM Clinic, through the recommendation of a friend who is also a TCM physician. After my 1st acupuncture session at HTCM Clinic, the tension and soreness of my eye, as well as the tightness of my stiff neck and shoulder, was greatly reduced. That night I slept like a log without the need of any sleeping pill. From 5th May to 17th May, after 5 acupuncture sessions, my ophthalmologist was surprised to see a great improvement on my retina tear, a recovery of 95% from 70% within a short period of 12 days. I was also told by my ophthalmologist that the probability of internal bleeding is greatly reduced. On June 3rd, my ophthalmologist informed me that the retina of my right eye had recovered and healed 100%.
On every acupuncture session, I felt as if Dr Liu was in dialogue with my body, not just inserting needles on meridian points for treatment purposes. Dr. Liu Zhiling is very professional and friendly.
During the treatment of my waist and knee tension paralysis, I had a chance to experience facial beauty treatment of TRADITIONAL Chinese medicine. Dr. Liu uses very fast scraping and warm moxibustion on the face, which smoothened the wrinkles and fine lines around my eyes. 我曾经对针灸是有抗拒的，害怕哪一支支长长的针刺进肉体的感觉，又深怕万一扎错，它会对我的身体造成伤害。
我从大概28岁就开始经常会有偏头痛，一发作我就吃强力的止痛药来止痛。
我还记得大约在14年前，当年我50岁。妹妹就劝我别再吃太多西药，叫我尝试针灸治疗。她介绍了当时在裕廊坊一间中医的刘志玲医师，她三番五次说刘医师的针灸功夫很好，一点也不痛。我终于鼓起勇气，心想先去看看刘医师无妨，不一定要做针灸，吃中药也行。就从那时开始，我就跟刘医师和针灸结了缘。

I used to be resistant to acupuncture, afraid of the feeling of a long needle piercing into the flesh, and deeply afraid that if I made a mistake, it would cause damage to my body. I have had frequent migraines since I was about 28 years old, and I used to take strong painkillers to relieve the pain as soon as I have a seizure.
I remember about 14 years ago, when I was 50 years old. My sister advised me not to take too much Western medicine and told me to try acupuncture treatment. She introduced Dr Liu Zhiling, who was a Chinese medicine practitioner in Jurong at the time, and she repeatedly said that Dr Liu's acupuncture skills were very good and not painful at all. I finally plucked up the courage and thought that it would be okay to see Dr Liu first, not necessarily to do acupuncture, but also to take Chinese medicine. Since then, I have been associated with Dr Liu and acupuncture.
Dr Liu Zhiling is very gentle and careful, she is very patient to listen to my problems, and she is also very careful to check the condition of my body. After her detailed explanation and encouragement, I was finally willing to try acupuncture. I remember very clearly on my first day of acupuncture, I was very nervous, and my whole body was tense. Dr Liu used a gentle tone to keep talking to me to relax, while gently using her first needle, second needle .... slowly I stopped being nervous. With the trust I have with Dr Liu, I continued with the acupuncture session a peace of mind and relaxation. After acupuncture, my migraine attacks became less and less frequent.
As I used to take a large amount of strong painkillers, I often had stomach discomfort, as well as stomach acid reflux. With Dr Liu’s acupuncture and medication, my spleen and stomach condition has gradually improved. I am very relieved to have Dr Liu look after my other medical conditions, including menopause and panic disorder, which have greatly subsided.
Now, Dr Liu has finally fulfilled her dream and opened HTCM Clinic, and I have also come to HTCM to let Dr Liu adjust my gastrointestinal problems. I have confidence in Dr Liu's acupuncture and medical skills, so with her around, everything will be fine.
